Arranged Marriage
Rejected over kundli mismatch after 3 meetings, gutted
We met 3 times. It was going really well, both families happy, we had even casually talked about dates.
Then their pandit said the horoscopes dont match and suddenly everything is off. No discussion, no nothing.
I am not even that into all this but it stings that months of talking ended because of a chart. She seemed upset too but said she cant go against her parents.
How do you even move on from something that was basically working? And do people really let kundli override an actual good match?

Next time maybe get the kundli checked earlier if families care, saves the heartbreak after you are attached. Lesson learned, not a loss.
You sound like a genuinely decent person. That does not expire because one family chose superstition over you. Onwards.
OP here. Yeah the exit theory stings but kind of makes sense. Better than thinking it was all stars I guess.
Lost a match the same way. Hurts because it wasnt even about you two. Give yourself time to grieve it, it was real.
My wifes kundli didnt match mine either. We married anyway, 6 yrs happy. The match that matters is the one in person.
The sad part is she agreed with her parents instead of fighting. That tells you how the next 30 yrs would have gone tbh.
Allow yourself a bad week, then get back on it. Momentum is the best cure, sitting with it too long is not.
Been there. What helped me move on was going no contact and deleting the chats. Clean break beats a slow bleed.
Plenty of families do let kundli override everything. It is frustrating but common. Not a reflection of your worth at all.
If a chart can cancel a good match, you dodged a family that will blame the stars for every problem later. Reframe it as a save.
Three meetings is early. It feels huge now but you will be ok. The one who is right wont vanish over a chart.
If she couldnt stand up for a match she wanted, that was the real mismatch, not the horoscope. You want a partner who fights for it.
Some pandits will adjust the reading if the family really wants the match. Means her family used it as a polite exit. Harsh but true.
